1. Wow, the pro-abortion folks are truly a band of gremlins. The states of New York and California are going after pregnancy resource centers with a vengeance concerning abortion pill reversal (APR). Most abortions in this country are done chemically with mifepristone and misoprostol. Mifeprostone binds to progesterone receptors blocking progesterone’s action. Progesterone is a steroid hormone produced by the human female abundantly in pregnancy because it is essential in maintaining a viable pregnancy. Misoprostol is trade name known as Cytotec. When I was in the infancy of my medical training in the late 80’s/early 90’s, Cytotec was used for peptic ulcer disease. Today, Cytotec is used to cause the uterus to expel the products of conception. Misoprostol is given up to 48 hours after administration of mifeprostone. On 7/31/2026, Salvatore Cordileone, Archbishop of San Francisco, and Michael Barber, Bishop of Oakland, CA, penned an opinion piece that appeared in the Wall Street Journal titled: California’s Case Against Second Chances. The article discussed the judicial case: California vs. Heartbeat International and RealOptions. The pro-abortion folks are running around claiming that giving APR, high dose progesterone, is not effective in reversing mifeprostone’s effects on ending a pregnancy and pregnancy resource centers are therefore engaging in misinformation and are a threat to public health. Every woman out there, who is having second thoughts about a chemical abortion in progress, should have the ability to change her mind and have her choice to give her baby a chance for life honored and respected.
