Jesus told his disciples a parable about the necessity for them to pray always without becoming weary. He said, “There was a judge in a certain town who neither feared God nor respected any human being. And a widow in that town used to come to him and say, ‘Render a just decision for me against my adversary.’ For a long time, the judge was unwilling, but eventually he thought, ‘While it is true that I neither fear God nor respect any human being, because this widow keeps bothering me, I shall deliver a just decision for her lest she finally come and strike me.’” The Lord said, “Pay attention to what the dishonest judge says. Will not God then secure the rights of his chosen ones who call out to him day and night? Will he be slow to answer them? I tell you, he will see to it that justice is done for them speedily. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?” Luke 18:1-8
Will God respond to all of our prayers? No, God will respond to those prayers which are prayers for the justice of God, not prayers for our own desires and wants. Accept injustices as a sacrifice of love and pray persistently to God to transform your sufferings into God’s mercy. God will always answer those prayers.

As Jesus continued his journey to Jerusalem, he traveled through Samaria and Galilee. As he was entering a village, ten lepers met him. They stood at a distance from him and raised their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master! Have pity on us!” Luke 17:11–13
Repent of your sins, be grateful and give thanks to the Lord for the forgiveness of your sins. Your faith will save you as you follow the will of God.

The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” The Lord replied, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.” Luke 17:5–6
If we desire to grow in faith, the first step is humility by acknowledging our lack of faith before the Lord. We must come to Him in prayer, asking sincerely for an increase of faith and humbling ourselves by confessing our lack of faith. When we do this, our Lord responds with grace. God strengthens our faith, uproots sin and evil, and plants our souls in places where we are nourished and renewed in ways we never thought possible.

Jesus said to the Pharisees: “There was a rich man who dressed in purple garments and fine linen and dined sumptuously each day. And lying at his door was a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who would gladly have eaten his fill of the scraps that fell from the rich man’s table. Dogs even used to come and lick his sores. When the poor man died, he was carried away by angels to the bosom of Abraham.” Luke 16:19–22
What type of life do you choose? A life of simplicity or a life of riches? A life of riches can impose upon you a life of temptation towards sefishness and indiffernce to the needs of others, which can lead to your demise. If you have many material possessions strive to be detached from them. Live simply and be generous to those in need. If you have very little do not covet more or be envious of others but trust in the providence of God that you are able to build up eternal riches within your soul.

And the master commended that dishonest steward for acting prudently. “For the children of this world are more prudent in dealing with their own generation than are the children of light.” Luke 16:8
Think about the goals you have in life. Are the goals all worldly based or is there a goal glorifying God? If you listed the goals by order of importance is the goal glorifying God at the top? Use the virtue of prudence to achieve the most important goals of life and use supernatural prudence to ensure your natural abilities of prudence are infused with the grace of God to be better equipped to accomplish God’s will for your life.
