1. Ohio Happenings. Friday, 1/16/2026, Aaron Baer, President of the Center for Christian Virtue (CCV), will be speaking at the City Club of Cleveland on “Faith, Policy, and Influence.” Please pray for Aaron and CCV that our Almighty Father will protect and fill the CCV members and their supporters with His Spirit to proclaim His Word. Numerous LGBTQ+ activist groups and allies will be staging a protest. Many Christian organizations will be joining the protest. This situation is an example of a deep divide within the Christian community. The protestors have decided to put their faith in the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) which has labeled CCV a “hate group.” Many decades ago, the SPLC did some good bringing accountability to the Klu Klux Klan. Unfortunately, the SPLC has strayed far from its original mission and now proselytizes and fund raises off the very thing the SPLC claims to abhor – HATE.
