Message from the doghouse 9/9/2026

Three Days of Remembrance. Tomorrow marks the one-year anniversary of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. As I sit typing this e-mail, a picture hangs above my desk – Charlie Kirk with his arms around both me and my husband at the 8/25/2025 Delaware County Republican Party Lincoln-Reagan dinner. Friday marks 25 years since Islamist terrorists flew planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and a field in Shanksville, PA. My father was in Manhattan, NYC on 9/11/2001. He came home on 9/12/2001, locked himself in his master bedroom, and cried inconsolably. He retired on his 61st birthday, 12/15/2001, and never spoke of what he had witnessed. My husband and I were schoolmates of Rich Guadagno, BRAVEHEART flight 93. The pain of 9/11/2001 never goes away. Saturday, 9/12/2026, marks the National Day of Remembrance of Aborted Children.

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4 (ESV)
