2. Midterm News and polling. The consortium of political polling asshats is all in a Head and Shoulders’ lather as to what to make of polling and Trump supporters. Conservatives; particularly evangelical Christian conservatives, have been hiding in plain sight their entire working careers. Although we are often described as simple rubes, many of us are actually quite cultured with academic degrees and esteemed employment pedigrees. We never, EVER talk politics or religion at work. We never, EVER pick up our phones when the number in the caller ID prompt is not explicitly known. We never, EVER allow ourselves to be caught on film or in print stating a political or religious opinion because we have known since our college days that if our employer ever found out we were REPUBLICAN, EVANGELICAL CHRISTIANS, we would be here today and gone tomorrow. As I am now retired, I can opine ad lib. Trump did not create MAGA. MAGA exists because a bunch of us pissed off devout Republicans got fed up with being fed the likes of two George Bushes, John McCain, Mitt Romney and a host of RINO slugs in the ranks of the ruling elite. Trump will be gone in two years. We still have a country to save. NEVER, EVER vote for a Democrat asshole. Your future and the future of your progeny depend on it.

3. Ohio News. I find Vivek Ramaswamy’s Amy Acton political ad using Acton’s estranged mother classless and graceless. I have never been impressed with Dr. Amy Acton. I would never vote for a Democrat in the Ohio gubernatorial race. As a woman, I have zero respect for a woman aspiring to be the Governor of Ohio who lacks the confidence and fortitude to engage in a public debate with her male opponent to make her case. I have not been a big Ramaswamy fan and the ad just confirmed my initial gut impression when his candidacy was first announced. The Ohio Republican Party was so quick in issuing an endorsement in 2025 that I started to wonder if maybe too much high potency weed was being enjoyed in Ohio. Sometimes you have to pick the smaller of two turds, so this ad will not change my intent to vote for Ramaswamy on November 3, 2026.
