News from Wednesday’s Ohio legislative session:

1. House Bill 183 (the bathroom bill) was added to Senate Bill 104 as an amendment and passed in the House 60-31. H.B. 183, introduced by Representatives Beth Lear and Adam Bird, requires that Ohio K-12 and college students use only bathrooms and locker rooms on campuses that align with their sex assigned at birth. The bill will now head back to the Senate to concur.

2. Enact Campus Act passed in both the Senate and the House and will now go to Governor DeWine to sign. The bill will require public and private colleges and universities to adopt and then enforce a policy regarding racial, religious and ethnic intimidation and harassment. This legislation came in response to an uptick in violence that has occurred on U.S. campuses since the start of the Israeli-Gaza Conflict.

3. House Bill 531 – Braden’s Law – passed unanimously in the House with 96 votes. The bill will now move forward to the Senate. Braden’s Law will prohibit sexual extortion. H.B. 531 was brought to the House by Representatives Beth Lear and Brian Lorenz. The bill was crafted in response to a sexual extortion incident involving an Olentangy High School student who took his own life as a result of the extortion. About the debate:

1. Biden. Yep, he is cognitively impaired to the point that it is “elder abuse” to run him for President of the United States of America. Unlike Special Counsel Hur, I don’t feel sorry for Biden because he has been a malignant nuisance in the political realm his entire career. Biden is definitely an old dog that cannot learn new tricks as evidenced by his coughing up some Biden Biggie Whoppers: A. Trump’s policies devastated the middle class. B. Border Patrol endorsed Joe Biden – The Border Patrol Union went on X during the debate to refute this claim. C. He kept bringing up Charlottesville and lied “bigly” – this issue was thoroughly debunked by the left stream media last week. Joe HAS to be senile to have brought this one up and/or perhaps he was set up by his handlers for Operation Dump Joe Biden. D. He and his party’s views are moderate when it comes to abortion – Nope. Biden’s performance was best summed up by DJT during the debate. “I don’t know what he said in that last sentence and I don’t think he does either.”

2. Trump. Trump outperformed the current POTUS. I do have to admit that although I have been a staunch Trump supporter, I have a hard time watching him in a debate forum. I don’t jive with his delivery. I was annoyed several times last night when Trump was not answering the question asked. That being said, this country is in a spiritual battle for its Judeo Christian ethos and I believe Trump is the man for the job. I was not keen on Trump’s abortion position – I believe abortion is state sanctioned murder and not in line with my Christian beliefs. I also believe that if Trump does not win this election and the Marxists – Democrat Party – continue their evil march through this country’s institutions, church affiliation may eventually become verboten. I am going to have to read the Bible, pray and talk to my Church leaders about this one because my justification has been, “well, Trump is not opting to be a church elder. You know, politics is an ungodly business.”

3. CNN’s performance. Hmmmm…. These guys were actually pretty civil to Trump which leads me to believe that Joseph R. Biden will not be appearing on the Democrat November 2024 ticket and this whole exercise was performed to let the American Public come to the conclusion by use of their own eyes and ears that Biden is not fit for office. Time will tell.

I have posted some articles today that I have collected over the past week illustrating current problems with a fully open, lawless border. Noted is the fact that illegal aliens often enter the country without background checks, federal authorities have been ordered to release repeat offenders who at times go on to rape and kill Americans including children and illegal entrants often enter the country with no means of support or skills. After sucking up a lot of student loan debt, many young American college graduates are passed over for jobs by cheaper, foreign born workers. Quite a few of the jobs the current Administration touts creating are often low paying, unskilled jobs filled by those illegally in the country. Both political parties are guilty of fueling this disaster – Democrats for votes and Republicans for cheap labor.

1. Biden Team gaslighting: “cheap fake.” In less than a week, many Americans will be tuning in to CNN for the presidential debate. As Scranton Joe’s cognitive abilities appear to be circling the toilet bowl, will the opportunity be taken to let the American Public see the true, unvarnished Joe – no props, no human in the wings for support, no enhancing drugs on board – as the pretext to Operation Dump Joe Biden cutting him lose and running a candidate oriented to person, place and time OR will the charade and pretending continue? I don’t know. The left has been whining this week that Biden is “structurally disadvantaged” because of all the edited and manufactured fake video clips out there. He is currently holed up at Camp David prepping for the debate. I think the appropriate phrase would be Joe is “cognitively disadvantaged.”

2. Marxist Institutional Capture: A. Indiana University has implemented new DEI standards into its law school curriculum. First year law students will now have to take a “responsible lawyering” course to comply with the 2022 American Bar Association’s (ABA) standard that states, “A law school shall provide education to law students on bias, cross-cultural competency and racism: (1) at the start of the program of legal education, and (2) at least once again before graduation.” B. In the state of Oregon, the medical board is working to finalize an ethic’s rule making “microaggressions” a reportable unprofessional conduct event that could lead to loss of one’s medical license. According to Merriam-Webster, a microaggression is a comment or action that subtly and often unconsciously or unintentionally expresses a prejudiced attitude toward a member of a marginalized group (such as a racial minority). The Marxists are making it difficult to be of European Caucasian descent – I think this statement would be considered a MACROaggression.

I now have an inkling as to why students in Chicago public schools are struggling with the educational basics of reading and math – Stacy Davis Gates, the president of the Chicago Teachers Union, is not the brightest bulb in the box. The union has come up with some demands that are ridiculous including “green” items such as electric school buses and solar panels and cheap city housing units. When called out by conservatives, Ms. Davis Gates went on radio last weekend claiming conservatives don’t want black children to learn how to read. As she went on in her rant, it became clear that she did not have a grasp of actual history – the Democrat Party, not the Republican Party, is the party of slavery and jim crow.
