Message from the doghouse 3/25/2024

Under circumstances that should surprise no one who has been paying attention – middle of the night, 1000+ pages with less than 24 hours to read – both chambers of the U.S. Congress and President Biden have signed off on a measure to avert a government shutdown until the fall. On a positive note for residents of Delaware County, Ohio, U.S. Senator Vance, U.S. House of Representatives Rep. Jordan and U.S. House of Representatives Rep. Balderson, did not vote in favor of the spending bill.

Tomorrow is primary day – 3/19/2024. Get out there and vote.

Most races on the Republican ballot will offer only one choice, so these are easy, peasy to complete.

For races with a choice, PoopD’s preferred:

1. Since the ballots were printed for the U.S. Presidential contest before Trump became the last man standing, be sure to vote MAGA – Trump and Trump. Trump has already won the primary, but let’s send a resounding message to all Ohio Rinos.

2. Ohio U.S. Senator – Bernie Moreno.

3. For Judge of the Court of Appeals (5th District) – Aletha Carver.

4. For Judge of the Court of Appeals (5th District) – Kevin Popham

5. For Judge of the Court of Appeals (5th District) – David Gormley

6. For State Representative 61st District – Beth Lear

7. For County Treasurer – Ken O’brien
