Dingleberry Of The Week 8/11/2023

All of us in Delaware County, Ohio in favor of Issue 1 got a shellacking on Tuesday and with that thought in mind this week’s Dingleberry Award is being given to the Delaware County, Ohio Republican Party for poor messaging on Issue 1. This dirty, old dog, a Delaware County registered Republican, received only TWO mailings from the Republican Party the entire election cycle for Issue 1. As I widely scan local media for site content, I can vouch that the MSM was in the tank BIGLY for Vote NO. Of the two mailings I received, one was from Andrew Brenner, my Republican State Senator, and the other was from Shawn Parker, Delaware County Republican Party Central Committee Chair, and Shyra Eichhorn, Delaware County Republican Party Central Committee Executive Chair. I have scanned both mailings and they are posted below so you can read them. The mailings were typical Republican talking points I’ve been hearing every election cycle since the 1970’s – Protect Our Rights, Protect Our Families, Protect Our Freedoms, Protect Our Constitution. The broad based term used for support of Issue 1 was protecting our constitution from a radical, far-left, progressive AGENDA without mention of the SPECIFIC agenda our state constitution needs to be protected against. No mention of unrestricted abortion, sex reassignment surgery and medical hormonal therapy in minors nor nullification of parental rights which is on the ballot this November as the Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment. I certainly hope the Republicans have a better game plan for November.

I do want to take this opportunity to let people know that ACOG (American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists) and AAP (American Academy of Pediatricians) are 100% behind the Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment. The Amendment uses the phrase “in accordance with widely accepted and evidenced based standard of care.” This standard is determined by the ACOG and the AAP. Were you impressed with how Covid was handled? Do you have faith in the Medical Industrial Complex today? Currently in the State of Ohio, abortion is legal up to the point of fetal viability because the Heart Beat Bill, which would allow abortion up until the detection of a fetal heartbeat, is tied up in the ether of the court system. Abortion has not been outlawed in Ohio. The Republicans and Pro-Life groups have to NOT let the Leftards make November ONLY about abortion. The Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment will not only allow abortions up until the time of delivery (9 months in a full term pregnancy), but will also allow minors, WITHOUT PARENTAL CONSENT, obtain GENDER AFFIRMATIVE CARE. Gender Affirmative care includes hormone therapy which is a lifetime commitment with serious long term side effects and mutilating, irreversible surgery – removal of breasts (top surgery) and removal of testicles and penises (bottom surgery). When a penis is removed, some of base tissue is inverted to make a faux vagina. Since the human body is equipped to heal itself after surgery, a device must be inserted multiple times per day to keep the man-made vagina from closing – think body piercings and how quickly they heal if a ring isn’t kept in for months. What happened to all the mental health care providers in this country? Unfortunately, if the Amendment passes, Churches counseling youth to accept the sex they were born will be crucified. Mental health care providers should be helping gendered confused people in accepting their God given, biological truth. When bottom surgery is done for sex reassignment, I wonder if minors will be informed of the risks and benefits before the surgery; particularly the risk of never experiencing an orgasm.
