4. President Trump receives a Dingleberry Award this week for his Truth Social post regarding the murder of Rob and Michele Reiner. There is an old adage that applies here: If you can’t say something nice, then don’t say anything at all. Trump should have either offered a simple, respectful condolence statement or said nothing at all. Yesterday was not the time to bring Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) and personal ideological battles with Mr. Reiner into the discussion. As an educated man of great wealth, President Donald J. Trump should have acted with greater aplomb and class. He should not have sunk to the disgusting level of public discourse and vitriol that happened with Democrats after Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

5. As a 1985 graduate of Brown University, I am deeply saddened by the mass shooting event that occurred on the Providence, Rhode Island campus last Saturday. Never in a million years could I have imagined that such violence could occur in a classroom at my alma mater. Please pray for the victims, their families, and the Brown University community that they will receive God’s comfort.
