The world is currently on fire.
1. On the domestic front. What happened in Minnesota early last Saturday morning should be an American Never Event. Two Democrat Minnesota State Legislators and their spouses were shot resulting in the deaths of Minnesota House Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband. Unfortunately for our country; Marxists, who now control the Democrat Party are not going to shut up and stand down. There is no reasoning with these people. If the Minnesota shooter is a conservative MAGA supporter, I whole heartedly support he be publicly humiliated and subjected to the severest federal penalty. The Democrat Party’s violent rhetoric is a dog whistle to every unstable asshole out there – Left and Right. In a civilized society, we cannot tolerate this level of violence – EVER. The Marxist, Socialist, Communist, Democrat Party is out of control with their verbal vitriol and are a threat to every man, woman, and child living in our country. California U.S. Senator Alex Padilla’s behavior at U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem’s press briefing last week was disgusting on so many levels. The presser was a private, invite only event and Padilla was not invited. Padilla, who was in street clothes and not wearing ID, aggressively approached the podium where Noem was speaking and yelled over the Secretary – Democrats really have no respect for women. Bravo, Secret Service, for protecting Secretary Noem and quickly neutralizing the threat. Padilla was offended that he was not instantly recognized as a U.S. Senator and given carte blanche to act like a pretentious little turd. This week, 200 U.S. Congressional Democrats signed a letter condemning the “unprecedented” removal of Senator Padilla from the presser. As an elected member of the U.S. Senate, Senator Padilla is well aware of security policy, procedure, and protocol and as a public servant is tasked to lead by example. He and Democrat Party loyalists have instead decided to stoke the coals and promote chaos.
2. On the international front the shit has hit the fan. I was happy to see Trump left the G7 meeting early because we do have a more pressing issue on the international stage. President Zelenskyy of Ukraine and President Sheinbaum of Mexico were both in Canada. Their countries are NOT members of the G7. So sad. Zelenskyy needs the American war machine to fill his coffers and Sheinbaum needs open borders to fill her coffers from remittances. Iran has been a pain in our ass since the Shah got the boot in the late 70’s. Iran is the supreme terrorism sponsor monster – Houthis, Hezbollah, and Hamas to name a few. Although I truly desire peace on Earth, I realize that Iran is a vicious, malignant threat and needs to be smacked into submission. There is no playing patty cake with these tools. Trump gave Iran 60 days to seriously come to the table and they decided to jack around. Israel has everything they need except bunker buster bombs to get the job done. Vietnam was a disaster. The post 911 incursion in the Middle East was a disaster. That being said, Iran can never be in possession of a nuclear weapon. What to do? Pray for President Trump and his Cabinet for God’s guiding hand in their decision making process.

Debt Bomb
The US House has passed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA). The bill is now in the US Senate undergoing additional tweaks and adjustments. The bill is a comprehensive reconciliation measure that combines tax reforms, spending adjustments, and policy changes into one package. The OBBBA includes an extension of the 2017 tax cuts; tax exemptions for tips, overtime pay and auto loan interest; an increase in the child tax credit to $2,500 through 2028; an increase of the state and local tax (SALT) deduction caps from $10,000 to $40,000; and an increase of the estate tax exemption to $15 million. The spending and program changes include stricter work requirements and eligibility verification for Medicaid and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), prohibiting Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) from covering gender-affirming care for individuals of all ages, ending federal direct subsidized loans for undergraduate students, allocating $150 billion for defense spending, and $70 billion for border security measures. Environmental and technological policies include rolling back many clean-energy tax credits established under the Inflation Reduction Act and imposing a 10-year moratorium on state-level regulations of artificial intelligence which will override existing state laws. The OBBBA, while not a complete disaster, does not reduce the debt or the deficit. Tax cuts and spending in OBBBA will rise over the first 5 years with savings materializing in the last 5 years of the budget cycle. Projections of how much the deficit will increase over 10 years range from $1.7 trillion to $6 trillion. Reducing government spending to address the debt and deficit requires tough decisions. Reducing the debt and deficit is challenging but necessary. Government borrowing and money printing to cover spending greater than government receipts results in an increase in inflation, weakens the dollar, and threatens the dollar’s reserve currency status. The lower and middle classes suffer the most as the value of the dollar decreases and prices increase because of the borrowing and money printing. If the debt and deficits continue to grow unchecked, the financial system is likely to experience a significant downturn or collapse. Elon Musk, despite all the success of DOGE finding outlandish spending and waste, became frustrated when he realized no one in Washington is interested in cutting spending and reducing the deficit. MAGA patriots did not come out in droves and vote in 2024 to continue the DC spending grift. It is time to stop playing “kick the can down the road.” Unfortunately for President Trump, he has to play ball with the Congress Critters who owe everybody and his brother.

1. Trump’s Summer of Resolve. The Summer of 2020 – The Summer of Love – was a prelude for the Summer of 2025. In 2020, the death of George Floyd was the clarion call for American Marxists, Socialists, Communists, and Democrats to take to the streets and go moon bat crazy. The Covid lock downs were conveniently not enforced on “peaceful” protestors. Protestors did follow Covid mask mandates which provided facial recognition cover. The chaos was tolerated and promoted in Blue metropolitan areas – Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, and other cities. Many areas were reduced to rubble and looked like war zones. An actual police precinct building was surrendered. When all was said and done, at least 36 deaths and 2 billion dollars of property damage had occurred. Donald J. Trump was President during this time and it was left to individual states and local municipalities to handle their mess. During Trump’s first term, he was surrounded by Deep State saboteurs and during the Summer of Love, Bill Barr was U.S. Attorney General; Christopher Wray was FBI Director; Mark Esper was Secretary of Defense; and a true American Patriot (sarcasm alert), General Mark Milley, was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Being a quick study and having learned from past mistakes, Trump is having NONE OF IT this time around. Because Brylcream Newsome has yet to call up the National Guard, Trump has deployed the National Guard under Federal Authority. The National Guard is protecting federal buildings and personnel and is on standby if the situation deteriorates. Currently, California’s state and local law enforcement units are managing the looting and rioting activities in Los Angeles. Trump has also opted to deploy several hundred Marines from Camp Pendleton. When violent protestors, domestic and foreign, are running around with foreign flags, spitting and setting American flags on fire, setting cars on fire, and hurling rocks and bricks at law enforcement, we have a problem. When elected officials put their party ideology above the physical and economic well being of their citizens, we have an insurrection. Of course, none of this is organic and magically appearing out of thin air. The chaos is being orchestrated by Leftist organizations. Rumor has it that the Leftists are now handing out American flags because the foreign flags were not providing the desired optic. So far, the Democrat Party and its mainstream media propaganda arm are sticking to the playbook and blaming Trump. Trump has not had to invoke the Insurrection Act (1807), but he can if the need arises. When LA was burning in 1992, President George H.W. Bush did invoke the Insurrection Act to quell the unrest. Let’s pray that leaders of the Democrat Party have a softening of their hearts and stop provoking the Hell Hounds.
