“When you hold a lunch or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or your wealthy neighbors, in case they may invite you back and you have repayment. Rather, when you hold a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind; blessed indeed will you be because of their inability to repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.” Luke 14:12–14
What is the source of our motivation? Why do we do what we do every day? Is it for the love of God and for the love of others or is it for ourselves? When our motivations are pure and selfless looking only to glorify God and care for others, God will lavish upon us eternal rewards.
God in Heaven, please guide with your loving Hand those impacted by yesterday’s wickedness in Minneapolis. Targeting children praying in a church is depraved and an indictment of our soiled society.
So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27 (ESV)
For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well. Psalm 139: 13-14 (ESV)
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. Revelation 21: 4 (ESV)
It is unbelievable the lengths the Marxist Democrat Party and their mouth pieces go to deny the truth. What happened yesterday did not happen because of gun policy or who is president. Yesterday happened because we live in a sinful and sick society that attempts to defy God’s Commands at every turn. We should not be affirming a mental disease; we should be treating it. As a mother, I am sad in my heart that the young perpetrator of yesterday’s calamitous event had a mother who petitioned the State of Minnesota for a name change – Robert to Robin – in 2019 on behalf of her male child. It is never possible to change one’s sex. As a former player in the medical industrial complex, I can vouch that it would be nearly impossible to find a mental healthcare provider whose goal would be to have the patient accept their birth sex. Such an action would be considered “conversion” therapy and in some states could land the practitioner in big trouble. We must rid our society of the acceptance of the transgender cult and with kindness, grace, and compassion help those with gender dysphoria to accept the beautiful bodies God gave them. The human body is an absolute biomechanical wonder and beautiful work of art!! Thank you, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Please help your lowly servants to remain faithful and accomplish your will at your direction.
Concerning the Westerville City Schools District (WCSD) 2025 School Board race, I have good news and bad news. Before I proceed, I know none of these candidates on a personal level and my opinions are mine and mine alone. My opinion is based on public record and having attended WCSD School Board meetings. On a good note, there is ONE solid candidate that Conservative Christians can rally behind. The bad news is that the other candidates are all of the Democrat Party persuasion. Odd year elections are supposedly non-partisan, but school board elections are a favorite Democrat/Marxist playground – can start the Party proselytizing pre-school. Five candidates are running this year for three positions. Two of the five are current incumbents and three are new to the school board. Since political party affiliation is public record, I did my homework and four of the five are Democrats. Three candidates have been endorsed by the Delaware County Ohio Democratic Party. One WCSD School Board candidate is a central committee member of the Franklin County Ohio Democratic Party. Two candidates have been endorsed by the Vote Mama Pac which endeavors to help Democrat Moms run for office. Normally, in an election where I can make three candidate choices but can only vote for one candidate in good conscience, I would vote for only one. Unfortunately, there are two candidates that I am opposed to after having been at two meetings last fall concerning the LifeWise/Released Time for Religious Instruction (RTRI) issue and I absolutely, positively DO NOT want these candidates to sit on the WCSD Board of Education. Bringing in the Executive Director of the Ohio Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) to “shame” Christians sealed my conviction for opposing certain school board candidates. The two school board meetings last fall were enlightening. I am a tough old coot. I trained at emergency rooms in Newark, NJ; New Brunswick, NJ; Trenton, NJ; Cleveland, Ohio; and a hospital in Philadelphia, PA that was so replete with gang violence that the Philadelphia Police Department had a division stationed in the hospital because we were constantly dealing with knife and gun club violence and had admitted patients of opposing gangs filling beds every day. While at the WCSD School Board meetings last fall, I was made to feel uncomfortable for the first time in over 30 years every time I got up to go tinkle. As soon as I pushed through the doors to enter the hallway with bathrooms, several sullen men in black suits were just sitting there. Hmm……. Some folks may not have caught on to the intimidation tactic going on, but this Jersey high hair gal with inner city Philly street smarts certainly understood the message. I am popping Tums over the fact that I am going to have to vote for the President of the WCSD School Board who made this practicing Christian feel maligned as a Christian for the first time in my life at the school board meetings last fall.
Who I will vote for in good conscience: Mark Stevens
Who I will NOT vote for: Nafiso Jamale
Anisa Liban
Who I will hold my nose and vote for: Tatjana Brown
Kristy Meyer

I’ve posted links to the WCSD Board of Education 2025 candidates below. Please read the links carefully and be on the lookout for Marxist/Democrat buzz words: equity; non-profit leadership and public affairs; advocacy for immigrant and underserved communities; supporting grassroots coalitions; promoting access to equitable resources; advancing policies to help communities thrive; ensure success through accountable, evidence-based institutions; passionate advocate for education and a respected community leader; dedication to social justice and years of civic involvement; Franklin County DEI Council member; touting political party accomplishments without naming the political party; promotes equity and inclusive education; respect for all voices and identities. ddmf
Jesus passed through towns and villages, teaching as he went and making his way to Jerusalem. Someone asked him, “Lord, will only a few people be saved?” He answered them, “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I tell you, will attempt to enter but will not be strong enough.” Luke 13:22–24
Treat everyone the same no matter their station in life. Everyone deserves our respect and attention be it the beggar in the street or the richest person in the world. God measures us not by successes from a worldly standpoint but on our fidelity to His holy will.
“Do you think that I have come to establish peace on the earth? No, I tell you, but rather division. From now on a household of five will be divided, three against two and two against three; a father will be divided against his son and a son against his father, a mother against her daughter and a daughter against her mother, a mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.” Luke 12:51–53
Divisions will exist between those who are united with God and those who are not. Open yourself to God’s love and then you will be able to share God’s love with others and receive God’s love from them. The deepest bonds are with those who are united with God.
