Just as yeast causes flour to expand into a loaf of bread, the Word of God possesses the power to transform the soul. Reflect today on how like yeast in dough, the Word quietly transforms the soul. You are being prepared for the glory to come as you are faithful in prayer, attentive to the Word and accepting to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. You are being made ready for the eternal banquet.
