Therefore, when he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they came to believe the Scripture and the word Jesus had spoken. John 2:13-22

Jesus cleansed the temple by driving out the money changers as the temple was a place of worship and not a marketplace. Jesus also desires to cleanse His Church by driving out every sin from our souls, cleansing them so we can fulfill our role as a member of His Body. The Church is the body of Christ himself.

Today’s topics are Islam, slaughter of Christians at the hands of Jihadists, and the Catholic Church’s blind eye to the Islamic threat.

1. I am very pleased that President Trump is addressing Christian genocide by Islamic Jihadists in Nigeria which is majority Muslim and Africa’s most populous country. As Christians, we are commissioned to spread the Gospel. It is our job to speak of Jesus Christ and the Gospel and to live by Christ’s example, but only God’s hand can do the work of changing hearts. After 9/11, fear occurred in the ruling class that “everyday” Americans were going to go on a rampage against Muslims. The fact that there were very few episodes of “Muslim bashing” after 9/11 is a testament to the kindness of the American Christian Spirit. Shortly after 9/11, word went out to the MSM and the educational establishment that Islam was to be proclaimed “The Religion of Peace.” A review of Islamic History and a look at the Religion’s core tenets reveal that the goal is for global conversion of humanity to Islam by any means necessary.

2. Sometimes, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) is insufferable. Instead of informing their flock to avoid Islamophobia, maybe the USCCB should be encouraging their parishioners to support persecuted Christians in Africa. The Vatican has just added a prayer room for Muslims. I wonder if Pope Leo will be visiting Mecca anytime soon or allowing the hordes of Muslim invaders to set up camp in the world’s smallest nation – Vatican City. The pontifications of Church Critters often cause me sinful consternation. Currently in Europe, fear of Islamic Jihadists and situational awareness are extremely valuable and life saving commodities. Unfortunately in the United States of America, it is time for Christians and Jews to wise up to the Islamic threat.

Election 2025 Post-Mortem:

1. Local elections. The Delaware County Board of Elections has a complete listing of Delaware County election results. The website can be easily accessed from this page – first listing on right hand side of this webpage under How To Get Involved. Municipal Court Judges Kyle Rohrer (R) and Mark Fowler (R) ran unopposed and therefore won their respective races. Incumbent Cindy Dinovo (R) beat Tyler Frederick (D) for Clerk of the Municipal Court. I was saddened that only 34.93% of registered voters in Delaware County bothered to vote. The only saving grace from the Westerville School Board race is that we will have only one instead of two muslimas on the board. All five members will be Democrats. The Democratic Party is exceptionally polished in getting Democrats elected in “non-partisan” school board races. I have been paying attention to this issue concerning the Westerville School Board since 2023. Both the Franklin and Delaware County Republican Party operatives have been nowhere to be found in this race. It would cost an individual tens of thousands of dollars to mount a school board run plus some political savvy that the average Joe Schmoe doesn’t have. It is time for Republicans to take a lesson from the Democrats on how to get the job done in local elections.

2. On the national front – take a deep breath and relax. Yes, Republicans got shellacked but let us not forget that in the 2024 general election, Kamala Harris carried California, New York, New Jersey, and Virginia. It is morally reprehensible that Jay Jones, who fantasized about murdering a political foe and his children and watching the children die in their mother’s arms, won the election for Virginia Attorney General. We certainly do live in an absurd and sinfully decadent time. Now is not the time to lie down and mourn. It is time to stand up and fight. NeoMarxist Jihadist Zohran Mamdani showed his true colors in his victory speech last night and congratulations to the Republican Party for already launching their 2026 midterm campaign – Mayor Mamdani, the face of the Democratic Party. Socialist Democrat shit may fly on the East Coast and the West Coast, but in flyover country – let’s make sure we keep it “not so much.”

Jesus will not reject anyone who comes to Him because He came to do the will of the Father.  Jesus will not lose any who were sent to Him.

I have to give the WCSD some points for being sneaky little goblins this Halloween season. The income tax request is a new twist in asking for money. Retired old pharts can now sleep easy in the knowledge that they have saved the children by voting for an income tax that won’t be their problem. I hope all the renters in the WCSD wise up to the fact that they will be seeing a new withholding on their pay stub. I will be voting No. I already grab my ankles every paycheck for the Feds and State. I believe the WCSD will have to figure how to make do with the large cash infusion I make twice per year via my property tax payments. I was talking with a friend of mine who lives in an upper class neighborhood along the Delaware River in Bucks County, PA a few weeks ago. My friend has a house appraised at 25% more than my house in Genoa Twp, Ohio, but he pays 25% less in property taxes. Wow, parts of Ohio are now out taxing East Coast suburbs with similar amenities.
