Recently, a grand jury in Montgomery, AL indicted the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) with 11 counts of wire fraud, false statements to a federally insured bank, and conspiracy to commit concealment money laundering. The DOJ has alleged that from 2014-2023, the SPLC secretly funneled more than $3 million in donation funds to individuals associated with violent extremist groups such as the Ku Klux Klan, Aryan Nation, and National Socialist Party of America and that donors were not told of this money flow. According to the indictment, the SPLC’s “stated mission included the dismantling of white supremacy and confronting hate across the country.” It appears the SPLC has been paying members of groups it claims to be dismantling to continue stirring the racial animosity kettle. Where would the SPLC be without hate? Once upon a time, 50 years ago, the SPLC had noble intentions. In our current era, the SPLC has been busy compiling its Hate List. The SPLC Hate List targets mostly Conservative Christian groups. Turning Point USA was added to the list 4 months before Charlie Kirk was assassinated. One individual paid by the SPLC was a member of the online leadership group that planned the “Unite the Right” event in Charlottesville in 2017. According to President Joe Biden, he “ran for president in 2020 because of what I saw in Charlottesville.” The Charlottesville rally armed Democrats such as President Joe Biden and Senators Chuck Schumer and Bernie Sanders and the mainstream media with talking points that echo to this day. The SPLC raked in more than 80 million dollars in donations following the Charlottesville rally. For the Left, HATE pays bigly. The LIE now being pushed by the SPLC, Democrat Party members, and Leftist mainstream media is that the SPLC was paying “informants.” Bless their hearts.
